Made right here in Melbourne using CAD (Computer Aided Design software) and the latest CNC cutting machinery, we control every aspect of our manufacturing from raw materials to finished product. We won’t compromise quality. As neoprene experts (our sister company has been selling neoprene since 1985), there are a lot of neoprene seat covers that claim to do what Dingo Trails® covers do. However, they are not UV-treated, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) spec’ed, have poor stretch (which will lather/tear) and fade under the Australian sun. We even encountered competitors using covers treated with formaldehyde, a known carcinogen with a strong smell. Compare that to our automotive neoprene that is soft, luxurious and battle tested for over 13 years in the Australian market. As far as we know, no other neoprene can make this claim. And oh, our neoprene is formaldehyde-free.

Received my Rav4 dingo trails seat covers. They fitted perfectly and look great. In the past I bought a similar style seat cover for my Prado from another Australian manufacturer (Supatrim) and in comparing the two, I would summarise as follows.
PROs:
The dingo trails covers are about 1mm thinner which seems to make them more comfortable to sit on. They flex and stretch compared to the other brand. The other advantage of the DT covers is that the seams are fully stitched and hemmed flat. This means that you don’t feel a thick rib / seam under your butt (which is a good thing).
CONs:
The rear covers use velco to keep them in place – it seems ok but the other brand uses a pipe stitched into the rear hem which you then push in between the seat bottom / back intersection. (I tend to prefer this option).
OVERALL – Great covers and would recommend.

Hi Dave, thank you so much for the feedback. The reason why we don’t use the “pipe stitched” is because the rear seat cover doesn’t stay in place after folding completely down/up. In fact, it costs us more to manufacture individual independent seat covers for the rear to allow for full articulation without sacrificing fit.
